Can I drive the 9 seater on a standard car licence?

Yes. The Ford Tourneo Custom falls within the standard car licence category (category B) so a normal full driving licence is all you need. You don’t require a minibus or PSV licence to drive our 9 seater.
How much luggage fits in a 9 seater?

The Ford Tourneo Custom has a generous boot area, and the rear seats can fold down to create even more space if your group has heavy luggage. For nine people with large suitcases, we recommend checking with our team when booking so we can advise on the best configuration for your group.
Is the 9 seater available at all Value Car airports?

Yes — the Ford Tourneo Custom is available at Dublin Airport (T1 & T2), Shannon Airport, Cork Airport, Belfast City Airport, Belfast International Airport, Dublin City and Mullingar. We recommend booking as early as possible as availability is limited, especially during peak summer season and bank holiday weekends.
Can I pick up in Dublin and drop off in Cork or Belfast?

Yes — and unlike the large multinational chains, we don’t charge extra for one-way hires between our Irish locations. Northern Ireland drop-offs are also included at no extra cost. Simply select your pickup and drop-off locations when booking.
Does the 9 seater come with the meet & greet service?

Yes. All our vehicles, including the 9 seater, come with our personal meet & greet service at airport locations. A Value Car representative will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a name board when your group lands — no shuttle buses, no desk queues.
How far in advance should I book?

We strongly recommend booking as early as possible — especially for peak season (June to September), bank holiday weekends, and major events. Our 9 seater fleet is limited and books up quickly. If you’re flexible on dates, mid-week availability tends to be better than weekends.
